Ready the Weapon of Praise

We are of the Light, in the Light and for the Light.

We are not afraid to walk through the Valley of the Shadows because the Light guides us, shines outwardly from us to keep us safe. The shadows taunt, flaunt, want to cause fear. The shadows shout to cause doubt of self. But we're just passing through...

I said "send me. I'll go". So You make me brave.

You test my faith. You call me out upon the waters.

You make me strong. You are my firm foundation.

You drop me to my knees again. Because I surrender and I want to know you more.

You make me sing. Just one more song.

You make me Yours. Because You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing.

You give me breath. So I pour out my praise to You only.

I was lost. But now I'm found.

You give me purpose. You say" go tell the world about me"

But what can I do for you...

I will fight for You on the battlefield of our minds.

I will intercept the flaming arrows in Your name.

I will seek the Truth, and then speak the Truth.

I will gladly accept the persecution for wearing Your banner into battle.

You took me out of the pit and put me up into the pasture. And I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. Forever.

READY THE WEAPON OF PRAISE

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
