Big Bang

Ramblings Part 22

The universe started with nothing

But a bunch of atoms all crushed together

Isn't human life the same way

You're nothing till a bunch of atoms come together

~

Rapidly they expand outward

Creating more and more

Galaxies and brains

All expand out in the same ways

~

Tendrils of starlight

Waves of grey matter

Is a human life

Just another big bang

This poem was inspired by the fact that scientists have found many startling similarities to the human brain and our universe. Both in its complexities and the patterns which are created in both. Perhaps the big bang is just a never ending process moving downward to smaller and smaller creatures. Who knows?
