If you had one wish
What would it be
Think really hard on this
You've only got one

A billion dollars you say
What do you intend to do
I hope help some others
Who are as bad off as you
~
Or is world peace your wish
But be careful with that thought
For if humanity can't find peace on its own
It'll probably fall apart
~
Maybe immortality is your game
But let me warn you now
A million years later
You'll regret it I'm sure
~
No matter your wish
Try and truly think it through
Think of all the unintended side effects
Or they will come back to bite you
Another rambling inspired by the idea of what if I met a genie. I hope I could get three wishes so I could use one of them to wish for the clarity of mind to make a good wish out of the two I had left. What would you wish for? Make sure to think it through. Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
