It should not be
our pressing goal
to leave coffers of wealth
for our kids.
It's our job
to take care
of our own health,
so we can last
as long as possible —
to teach them wisdom
and good judgment.
Most importantly,
how to live
in harmony
with nature.
How to be kind
to other critters,
and not brazenly invade
into their habitats.
Not to stir chaos,
and not disrupt eco-balance.
No point building
loads of material assets
here and there
to passs on as inheritance
in an unstable world
that is gasping
for clean resources —
where empathy is fading.
Kids are copycats,
deaf to our words
but curious of our works.
Let them see
our wise actions
and emulate
grow up as
nature stewards
for a thriving world.
They will be thankful
for these lessons
on compassion and
nature reverence.

Indeed, we teach them by showing them. It leaves more impact in their lives. Thanks for sharing this ❤️
