Rainy Day Joy

Poem

The sky turns gray, the clouds roll in,

The raindrops start, a gentle din.

Children cheer and run outside,

In the rain, they laugh and glide.

Puddles form, they splash with glee,

Barefoot on the grassy sea.

Raindrops dance on tiny hands,

As joy spreads across the lands.

Little feet in mud and rain,

Free from worry, free from pain.

Faces lifted to the sky,

As the rain comes pouring by.

Giggles fill the summer air,

Water glistens everywhere.

Parents watch with smiling eyes,

As children play beneath the skies.

Rain falls softly, cool and light,

Turning day from dark to bright.

In the rain, they find their fun,

Playing 'til the storm is done.
