Raindrops, raindrops, pitter-patter,
Tiny dancers on my matter.
Down my cheeks they take a slide,
Giggling whispers, side by side.
-
Across my nose, a ticklish race,
Leaving trails upon my face.
On my chin, a puddle grows,
Catching rainbows in its nose.
-
Tongue peeks out, a curious sip,
Sunshine sweetness on my lip.
Raindrops dance, a joyful spree,
Washing worries out of me.
-
So let them fall and let them sing,
Raindrops, laughter, on the wing.
For in their splash, a world takes flight,
Where puddles hold the sun's warm light.
