Today, in a world that's black and white,
I look through rainbow-tinted glasses.
The darks, more dark, and the lights, more bright,
As one day at a time passes.
I used to live in a bottomless pit,
But one day, I found the bottom.
I also found my demons there,
So, I stood up, tall, and fought them.
I couldn't handle this fight on my own;
I closed my eyes, calling for aid.
In moments, I looked around me in awe -
My angels had come as I bade!
Black and blue, I emerged from my pit,
My toughest fight finally won.
The angels taught me a new way to live,
And 'til death, I will never be done.
For the rest of my life, I will live to aid
The one in need 'midst the masses.
And if that is you, just call for the angels,
We're the ones with the rainbow-tinted glasses.
