Red,

Is wat I feel when someone tells me I’m Going to hell

To them, I really want to tell,

Who do you think He likes best?

The oppressed?

Or the ones who changed his manifest?

And not for the best,

I can tell you that

For now people hate the ones who make life really blessed

Orange,

The hair of the girl who’s hand I used to hold

Until we were told

You're not gay are you?

With faces of disgust

It made us adjust

Hide away

And that was on a good day

Yellow is the colour of the croptop my friend likes to wear

Just as he likes to braid his hair

Oh, how I admire his pride

After having to hide

He’s unapologetic and bold

I want to be that uncontrolled

Green means natural

It’s how I feel when I steal,

A kiss from your lips

Your fingertips to mine

A shiver through my spine

Until someone pushes me

And I wish we could be free

Blue of the sky our allies faced,

Before their futures got erased

A lot have died for our cause

And we shall not forget

For every hand I can hold now,

Someone lost a head

Purple is for solidarity

So that being gay will no longer be a rarity

We need to support and help our own,

with every bone

For we are worth all smiles and happiness of life

Here

And in the afterlife
