Rain Rain, come again my friend. Because you are ever flowing life has no end.
You go and you come, you come and you go. Your nectar is the reason we see earth soil grow.
When I saw you as a kid my grandma said that you were here to do the Lord’s work by nourishing the Lord’s earth.
During the hard times of life we not only take the time to stand in you, but also smile and dance in you.
Some think of you as the average symbol of low points and death, but you’re really the injection of one more breath.
You’re never ordinary. Your every drop is proof that the world will sustain because of the rain.

Beautiful ode! 'you’re really the injection of one more breath' is an incredible line
On rainy days I like to look out the window & say, "Rain, rain, come & stay; go away another day."
A wonderful ode to life-giving rain. I love the rain and this poem. Well done, Joe!
I also love the rain, like the fine company below me, so you're in good company, Joe! I have written about the rain before, but I adore your ode! Such a great entry to the challenge!
I also love the rain. Wonderful Ode!
Love this ❤️. I actually love the rain, except to drive in it. Home with a cup of coffee it is the best. Beautiful take on the challenge. This line "but you are the injection of one more breath" . Stunning ❤️
This was a great ode to the rain!!! 🖤🌈
