War walks in without a name,

Yet leaves every street in tears,

Homes collapse into the dust,

Dreams erased in seconds, years.

Innocent souls with open hearts,

No sin upon their fragile breath,

Fall beneath the sound of fire,

Life vanishing into death.

Children cry with borrowed fear,

Mothers pray through shattered skies,

Fathers stand with empty hands,

As hope dissolves before their eyes.

O God, we need You—hear us now,

The earth is tired of human rage,

Your people wound each other deep,

Repeating sorrow, age to age.

Lift Your arms wherever You are,

Let mercy flow where hatred grew,

Send down rain—not fire or pain—

But peace, like morning, fresh and true.

Cover those who never sinned,

Shield the weak, the lost, the small,

Let innocent souls survive the storm,

Let love be stronger than it all.

May weapons sleep, may hearts awake,

May war release its cruel hold,

And in Your world, let peace remain—

A promise kept, a story told.

Beautiful!! We need this overhead in the sky in all countries, blotting out evil and bombs and missiles and pain.
