RAIN

MY TAKE ON RAIN

By Safira RodriguesPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I don’t understand what problem you have with me

The moment I step out

You start to pour unstoppable

Just like cats and dogs.

When I’m indoors

You hide behind the clouds

As if we are playing hide and seek

You soon seek me when I’m outdoors.

I genuinely don’t understand

Whether you hate me or love me

Your behavior puts me in turmoil

I need to figure out what is in your mind.

I’ve never like you when I’m outdoors

You make me feel miserable

But I do like you when I’m indoor

You make me feel tranquil.

I feel serenity in your falling sound

It’s peaceful to sit besides the window

When you pour out heavily

Many thoughts ramble my mind.

Sometimes your sight is distressful

When I’m out of my confer zone

And sometimes your sight is peaceful

When i am in my comfort.

Dear rain,

Just a hummable request

Pour your heart out

When I’m in sound sleep!
