Rabbit Race

Once upon a time, there lived a rabbit in a small village. He considered himself a lazy and timid rabbit. He had no relatives or friends in the village to play with, because he always turned back in fear while running.

Rabbit's friends used to tease him a lot and would always say to him, "Rabbit, you only know how to run, nothing else!" Rabbit felt very bad, but his self-confidence was completely broken. He always considered himself a loser and did not even try new things.

One day, a running competition was organized in Rabbit's village. All the animals of the village started preparing to participate in that competition.

Rabbit also saw that the animals participating in that competition were very excited and positive. But Rabbit decided to stay away from that competition due to his lack of self-confidence.

His friends tried to convince him, but Rabbit did not listen. The feeling of fear in his heart had plagued his thinking. The day of the competition came and all the animals were ready to participate in it.

The rabbit saw the scene of the competition and his eyes opened wide. A new hope and enthusiasm rose in his heart. He thought, “Who knows, maybe I can also succeed.” Without any delay, he started running and attracted everyone’s attention with his fast running.

When the competition was over, everyone was surprised. The rabbit had won the competition. His running speed, fighting spirit, and confidence brought him success.

This hard work and struggle of the rabbit led him to the confidence he needed very much.

From this story, we get to learn the importance of confidence. We need to have faith in ourselves, no matter how small or big abilities we have.
