Two rivals with shared feelings,

still trying to understand their own unity-

a sight to see.

They fearlessly involve one another,

without thought for the preparation

needed to handle certain storms.

Climbing the wall of frustration grows tiresome

when both refuse to leverage the other.

The ability to forfeit personal focus

for the greater good of the unit

is an unknown virtue

to those stained with selfishness.

Fighting becomes an excuse to disrupt peace,

because people often get bored

with lasting greatness and perfection.

Rifts born from unrealistic expectations

can blind the purpose of connection,

detouring love from its path—

until all that’s left is the storm.
