Tell me what spells you weave.

Could you tell me the future

And whether I will marry the one I love?

Or can you control the weather

And bring long winters or early springs?

Perhaps your magic conjures images of fantasy

Or it lets you speak to the dead?

Yet, as I stare at you, wise black cat

I wonder if you're just a grumpy, old black cat.
