Every day we wish upon a star,
It's not the way this life works.
Dreams can only get you so far,
It makes you fight for all the perks.
It's not about the happy ending,
It's about the journey to get there.
Funny how things keep depending
On the emotions that make you aware.
The world we live in this day,
Has separated us from the past.
It keeps actual reality at bay,
All our humanity dwindling at last.
The constant horrors that we see,
Are no longer real to our eyes.
What we see online can’t be,
Yet we know they are not all lies.
We don't acknowledge others lives,
Too caught up in technology today.
All the things that this world strives
To keep the creativity in us at bay.
How detached you are right now,
Are you living life or just a spectator?
Do you still even remember how,
To be an opportunity creator?
