You are a Queen

Let your head be held high

Let your crown grow as high as the sky

You are royalty

And they should treat you as such

You at least deserve that much

Your crown is crooked

But don’t let just anyone touch

Choose someone with whom you trust

They will tell you you’re not worthy

To hold a crown on your head

But they are the ones who aren’t worthy of you instead

We may not have been born with silver spoons in our mouths

But we are also not paupers and for that we should be proud

We are queens able to move anywhere we want

But some see us as pawns wanting to guard them in front

Don’t let them tell you different

They think we’ll trust the media we’ve seen

But they are just trying to hide the true fact

That we are indeed QUEENS
