Quantum Quarantine

A Moment of Melody

The gold curtain billows in the cool breeze,

slightly humid after the rain

drops of water stick to the glass.

The calendar rises and falls with each gust.

This weather makes me content,

creating the perfect state of body and mind

where time doesn't exist in this moment

I only receive what comes my way.

My overgrown orchid sways in the wind

while the blinds hum a tune.

I put on some rhythmic beats to dance

in harmony with this melody.

My shades of being are unlocked.

My consciousness expanding and learning

who I am is key

during this critical quarantine season.

I do not fear; storms come and go

as long as I am connected within,

I am united with the ensemble.

We are one in this quantum orchestra.
