Quantity vs Quality
A poem

We'd talk for hours
About nothing noteworthy.
The quantity was huge,
And should be enough.
.
But don't I deserve more?
.
Not minutes,
But moments:
Tidbits to laugh at,
Things to remember.
Reminisce about the world
With touch that'll spark
Not lust,
But love.
.
I deserve this and more.
.
I deserve quality
After living to suffice
These half empty loves
And hollowed out lies.
.
It's not too much to ask.
.
I deserve to feel
My heart cry out
In relief at what is mine.
Love will someday swell within,
I'll know it won't be leaving again.
After all this time,
And all this pain.
I am worthy of quality.
I will get it at last.
.
I won't be silenced again.
