Pyramids of emotions

Poem

By MeenaPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I held my tears while I told her,

I carry this pain of scars on my skin,

I carry heartache, misery and a fear of loneliness,

within me.

I fear the world would walk by,

And mine would stand still

I fear maybe, I wouldn't keep up

And it wouldn't be as my will to carry the weight of being this person,

Sad yet trying,

I carry pyramids of emotion

And stormy skies ready to burst out tears

within me.

So I asked her where should I go?

He said;

To the moon my love,

Take your agony,

Take your grief to her,

Lie down and look above

The world will seem calmer

The world will seem better.
