Putting The Woke To Bed
The Red Wave

The polls began closing, a “Red Wave” has come
A tsunami for fixing what’s wrong
This nation’s disgust for the notions of some
We’ve been prisoners held captive too long
To live as we choose is a God-given right
But some choices have led us astray
So voting our conscience allowed us to fight
In the only way we have a say
“Woke” was the joke that kept claiming “inclusive”
We were “bigots” if we disagreed
Assaulted with views in a manner abusive
Now our voices are suddenly freed
They support and promote things the Bible forbids
In a way that manhandles the truth
They conducted their drag shows to influence kids
In the schools meant for teaching our youth
How can people so “PC” be people aware
Yet offended when called, “He” or “She”
They hijacked our morals and took every dare
Now their “Party’s” been tossed to the sea
Who knows all the notions they had in their head
Their wishes, so many, bizarre
These “woke” are the people that sullied their bed
Because nothing to them is “too far”
They hamstrung our rights and they bridled our tongue
By censoring words we could say
They opened our border, brought new “voters” among
But this tidal wave washed it away
Call it luck or karma, call it God’s will or fate
It’s the woke crying crocodile tears
They’ve threatened to leave cos they’re highly irate
That this wave set them back several years

BAMM!!! I commend you for your guts, Earl. I am a conservative/moderate voter and a Christian. And we represent more than half of the Unites States. I wish no American any harm, but it was time (way past time) to take a stand. The Bible teaches that after awhile God gives us over to a reprobate mind if we don't turn back to Him. We need to stay on our knees. Not gloating, just grateful. Always enjoy your poems.
