Purple Means More Than Just A Color To Me
A color based poem about my true self
The color purple means
the whole wide world to me-
peace, power, strength,
bravery, creativity and uniqueness.
When I wear the color purple,
I feel like a female warrior
who's ready to enter
her own battlefield and
fight her own war of personal struggles.
When I see the color purple,
I imagine peering into
a bottle of fairy dust,
writing down all my wishes
to conceal in my
fake bottle of fairy dust.
Purple is not just a color to me;
It's a powerful reminder of
the favourable and respectable
things I pursue,
people I encounter,
the level of courage I have,
and the precious time
I currently have.
When I smell the color purple,
my sugary cravings to
devour a giant bowl of
my favourite sweet, satisfying,
wholesome, scrumptious, vibrant and
juicy magenta grapes happen.
Instead of munching on dark purple
Maynard's Wine Gums, I feast on
mother nature's gumdrops.
The color purple doesn't turn me
into an artisitically gifted young woman;
all shades of purple transform me into a
female magician, artist, musician, reader,
writer, healer, photographer, fairy and earth lover.
