the moon is full

the night's alive

siren-like, the F.O.M.O pulls

rooms packed, a buzzing hive

looming in the corner

no spectacle to provide

I watch the party's pulse

and wish I'd stayed inside

I spot your form

from across the room

and in an instant

my appetite blooms

with my sights set

and heart on sleeve

I watch you closely

until you leave

it's then you see me

and freeze, jaw slack

shocked by my beauty

there's no going back...

when we're well acquainted

I glance down to your lips

we move in a little closer

an invite for a kiss

I wish our story ended well

but I would be remiss

for there aren't happy endings

when you kiss a succubus.
