A RubyRed Original Poem

fear is one whom you take for granted

the one you ignore until they come for you.

you only use them when you're caught in crossfire

and they can affect those who you thought were untouched.

i saw it now,

in the one that i admire most.

an untouched soul shattered by the things we all fear

it was almost an earthquake

to know that she too, could feel the fear we all hide too well.

her face was red and puffy

eyelashes soaked from unspeakable wounds

a plain porcelain face cracking before us

i do not know how to handle this.

if she can feel fear..

if she has been overpowered

and can be controlled

forced to play the puppet master's dance

then no one is safe from the void.
