It’s greeting your neighbors with a smile and wave

Seeing everybody in church on Sunday

We wouldn’t have it any other way

There ain’t no better place

It’s Friday night football

And a gas station pop

Don’t have a light to tell us to stop

It sure ain’t a lot

But we’re happy with what we got

Every time we look around

Yeah I’m proud of my small town

Making the front page of the local news

Is a pretty common thing to do

Something everyone looks forward to

No it’s not a big city at all

When we look around

I’m proud to call it my hometown
