Promote Peace

'Flower'

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 5 months ago 1 min read
Flowers 'accept' each other

“A flower

does not think of competing

with the flower next to it.

It just blooms.”

How true is this quote!

When we look at a garden of flowers

of different kinds, colours and shapes

all standing proudly next to each other,

we are amazed at their beauty and ‘peace’.

Why can’t we be like this?

It is true

that most of us want to promote

love and tolerance and acceptance,

there are still those who do not.

We must stand out

and

show that there is no ‘competition’.

The rose and the daffodil

are completely different flowers,

but they still live in the same garden.

When we accept ‘who’ we are

and

respect others for ‘who’ they are,

we promote peace.

LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!

Such a beautiful reminder. Flowers don’t compare, they just bloom. We should all be more like flowers 🌸💛
