Process of Loss

October (Forever)

By Olivia DodgePublished 2 months ago 1 min read

I’m already sleeping

better than I was

and I don’t wish the

world to burn

I don’t wish burning

upon anything

even if it’s been dry

enough for 18 months

even if it’s evolving

into cotton on its own

It’ll make for a nice

pillow one day

and maybe even a dress
