Pro-life that isn't alive

A poetry

Government takes the responsibility for your pregnancy,

Roused in the court.

The young teenage girl, cried beside her mother

Was it fair?

If it was, who's body was to suffer while the unborn was yet to birth

Who's body was to nourish the unborn

Who's mental stability was to disintegrate

Over the course of next year and more.

If it was the judgement

Is birthing a child only job?

A job that doesn't alter the life of birther

A job that doesn't put a human body and mind to shambles.

Unconsented procedure of nine long month and consequences thereafter.

How different will this experience be

From a mother who has waited for her child to be born.

A mother who had opted for this life and what it brings along

Can't be same as the ones' who was imposed with this responsibility.

A teenage girl, an adult woman or any man

Who can love a life that was born out of their own suffering

With arguments and court judgements.

A cell was forced to develop and come alive for the pleasure of morality

And to the slogans of those crying 'pro life'.

None cared for the life of that teenage girl who then never cried.
