Prison's peace
Like a heavenly hell

13JAN2023; FRI
I told him, "There'll never be a cure for the madness inside of me." He just looked at me and called me crazy.
He came inside my prison and called it a sanctuary. He broke down every wall in his path.
There's been many before him; but no one could actually save her. Maybe they weren't strong enough.
Maybe she was too much. Or maybe it was just that they weren't him.
She was an angel seeking chaos. To feel like she's still here; just to feel her heart beating.
Her heart escapes every night in search of his. While he seeks the very thing she hates herself for.
Her peace. So every night two lonely souls roam the heavens and earth in search of one another.
Wherever they are, whatever they are. He fires her up inside.
Blissfully on cloud nine. He holds her while she engulfs him in her world of love, lust, and longevity.
Slowly they both fall back down on her pillows of peace. Until the sun comes.
He sneaks out pass her bars—I mean through her doors. Until night brings them to search again.
When spiritual meets physical is when everything becomes beautiful.
