More than two colors

Coursing through our veins

We feel happiness and joy

Sadness and pain

I am...

Red hot passion

Every time you are near

My blood boils

with excitement, trepidation, with fear

We are...

Orange fervent hunger

Dying of starvation

Your love is my provision

Oh mine sweet salvation!!

You are...

Yellow soothing sunshine

Caressing my skin

My soul immersed

Your touch a golden glowing sin

I am...

Green crackling envy

Monstrous fracturing health

Jealous of all before me

Who can be true to themselves

We are...

Blue undulating oceans

Emotions continuously swayed

One second from being swallowed

Wallowing in the waves

You are...

Purple pulsating pride;

While I am forced to wear a mask

Your emit audacious violet aura

In which I wish to bask

I am more than a few colors

Not just derma and bones

Part of a rainbow coalition

A prism of light and of hope

Maybe one day

I can reflect every color inside

But for now I shall wait

Till this storm subsides
