Arrogance and ignorance of some does not change

Still I'm continuing to push for peace

On a wheel leading me back to where I began

An entry way filled with fake smiles

Meaning less and less what it may seem

These days it doesn't even last a while

Before the bitterness overtakes the scene

No, not will I let it eat away at me.

As scavengers beak tries to strike

What's left of my flesh from previous lessons

Past mountains and up hills I've hiked

Though yes, of flesh as I've said I am

Two times the heart beneath this skin

Ever growing, lacking ability to hold back

Not for an instant, the emotion

Until remembering irrelevance all they're poison...

What holds me close is so much more precious

Love for a piece of oneself, so dearly

This antagonist could never understand

To guess anger of those seeking my sadness

Would land one opposite correct hand

Sympathy within me lays much more dense

Able no less than pity for petty minded

As to me, my logic makes just the same sense.
