Prince of Persia Poem

A Land of Boldness

By RAYMOND OGWUPublished about a year ago 3 min read

In lands where sands whisper secrets of old,

A tale unfolds, of a prince bold and gold.

In Persia's realm, where the sun fiercely glows,

A hero emerges, as destiny shows.

In palaces adorned with silken threads,

Beneath starry canopies, dreams spread.

He walked the marbled halls, head held high,

A shadow of greatness, a gleam in his eye.

The kingdom sighed with each breath he took,

A land of legends, where history shook.

The winds of time whispered in his ear,

Of trials to come, of dangers near.

His name was whispered in the desert breeze,

A song of hope among swaying trees.

In markets bustling, in courts serene,

The Prince of Persia, a noble mien.

His heart was carved from valor’s stone,

A guardian of realms, he stood alone.

With sword in hand and honor as shield,

He vowed his life, his fate was sealed.

Through deserts vast, where mirages play,

He journeyed forth at the break of day.

The golden sands, his path did weave,

In search of truths, he sought to retrieve.

Oasis hidden in the scorched expanse,

He found his solace in nature's dance.

Palms and fountains, a brief respite,

Before the darkness of the night.

In cities grand, with walls of white,

He fought for justice, for what was right.

The people cheered as he passed by,

A hero risen, a beacon in the sky.

In battles fierce, where swords did clash,

He moved like wind, a thunderous flash.

Enemies trembled at his sight,

For he was the dawn breaking the night.

Through ancient ruins, through temple halls,

He sought the relics, the mystical calls.

Of sands that turn the hands of fate,

To alter time, to open the gate.

The dagger of time, a weapon rare,

Its power immense, beyond compare.

With it, he danced on destiny's line,

To save his world, his heart, his shrine.

His love, a beauty with eyes of fire,

Her voice, a melody, a sweet lyre.

She stood beside him, through night and day,

Together they carved their destiny's way.

Their bond was forged in trials dire,

In burning sands, in ice and fire.

Her smile, his solace, her touch, his grace,

In her embrace, he found his place.

But shadows loom where light does glow,

A serpent of darkness, a dreaded foe.

A vizier with eyes of cruel deceit,

Sought the power of time, his plan complete.

The prince, undaunted, faced the threat,

With courage burning, his path was set.

Through labyrinths dark, through trials grim,

He fought the shadow, his chance was slim.

With every strike, with every tear,

He carved his fate, he faced his fear.

The sands of time within his grasp,

He turned the tide with a mighty clasp.

In the heart of darkness, where shadows play,

He found the vizier, his end, his fray.

With one swift strike, the darkness fell,

The light of Persia began to swell.

The kingdom rejoiced, the battle won,

The prince stood tall, beneath the sun.

A hero crowned, a tale begun,

In the annals of time, his legend spun.

Yet peace is fleeting, as sands do show,

For time is a river, in constant flow.

The prince knew well his journey’s end,

Was but a chapter, a message to send.

He turned his gaze to horizons far,

To lands uncharted, where mysteries are.

With heart undaunted, with spirit high,

He ventured forth, beneath the sky.

Through mountains tall, through forests deep,

He wandered far, where shadows creep.

The prince of Persia, a legend grand,

In every step, he saved the land.

In distant realms, in kingdoms vast,

He fought for justice, till his last.

A warrior noble, a heart so true,

In every battle, his legend grew.

For he was not just a prince, but more,

A guardian of tales, of ancient lore.

His name engraved in time's own scroll,

The Prince of Persia, a timeless soul.

So when the sands of time do shift,

And shadows loom, and fortunes drift,

Remember the prince, his noble quest,

His spirit lives in hearts possessed.

For heroes rise where hope is sown,

In lands unknown, in paths alone.

The Prince of Persia, forever bright,

A beacon of courage, in the darkest night.

In the end, when all tales are told,

And time itself grows faint and old,

His story will echo, in whispers clear,

The Prince of Persia, forever near.
