Pretty, Pretty, Please?

2020

By Bailey ThorntonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Take my hand,

Will you pretty please?

Look my way,

I’m begging, “Look at me!”

I need your help.

Just a simple little task

If you say no,

That’s okay. It didn’t hurt to ask.

You’ve made it clear,

I’m not the best.

Why are you here?

Are you truly the Devil’s Test?

Take my hand,

Pretty, pretty, please?

Tell me how,

much

I really, really mean.

Look into my soul,

Try to really grasp and know,

The woman inside.

The one you’ve made me hide.

Take my hand,

Pretty, pretty, please..

It doesn’t at all feel

Like I mean

anything.

Pretty, pretty, please.
