Tell me pretty lies, even if they're fake,

Paint a beautiful life, a life that's worth the wait.

For in your words, I find my solace, my escape from all that's real,

A world that's full of wonder, a love that I can feel.

Speak to me of fairytales, of happily ever afters,

Of knights in shining armor, and damsels in distress.

For in your stories, I find my hope, my chance to dream once more,

A world that's full of magic, a love that I adore.

Tell me pretty lies, even if they're untrue,

For in your words, I find my comfort, my chance to renew.

A world that's full of laughter, a life that's bright and gay,

For in your lies, I find my happiness, my chance to escape the grey.

Speak to me of promises, of futures that we'll share,

Of love, that's true and lasting, of a bond that we can't compare.

For in your words, I find my passion, my heart's deepest desire,

A love that's strong and endless, a bond that will never tire.

So, tell me pretty lies, even if they're not real,

For in your words, I find my strength, my chance to heal.

A world that's full of beauty, a love that's pure and true,

For in your lies, I find my truth, my chance to start anew.
