Pretty became me before I knew you

Hoping looks can prove it all to be True

Having your attention

Commanding what made us Real

Pretty made me before I was an adult

Getting my way, no matter what I was taught

knowing that Daisy was right

being a pretty little fool

What else is there to do?

Pretty had me before it was easy

somewhere along the way

A man thought he was complex

complimenting my body

But honey, I don't take orders from a man

who doesn't notice who I am

Pretty, I know her

a simple thing to be

sincerely copacetic

I know the Power,

Pretty gives me

the Privilege

in your eyes

so don't tell me

I'm Pretty

I already know her.

This is inspired! ✨❤️ my favourite likes are “honey, I don’t take orders from a man, who doesn’t know who I am” I’ve found when dating that a partner who just appreciates you when you feel beautiful, is one you should run away from. I loved this, beautiful words ☺️❤️

  • Excellent poem. Well written with a good amount of depth and meaning. I subscribed to you also!!!
