Prelude to triumph.

Rain must fall before the revelation of sunlight,

Winter must pass before spring,

The bitterness of war must come before peace,

Weeping comes before joy can then bring,

Through the shadows of night, it shall rise,

From the depths of the pit, it shall come,

As victorious over powers and the reach of the grave,

When the heart is full sorrow and numb,

Birth pains must come before deliverance,

Tribulation before the song of victory can then sing,

The shadow of death must be conquered,

Before victory is assured, by the king.

Through the ashes of misery, he shall arise,

From the triumph over death and the grave,

Hope in the hearts of men shall stir once more,

He has come to deliver, and save…
