Pregnant virgins, they are real

I was on vacation in El Salvador,

doing activities that were outdoor,

and I was savoring every meal,

but missing my period was a huge deal.

Results: positive,โ€ my soul fell to the floor

Iโ€™m pregnant? No, this had to be a joke or

maybe an error. I wished I was made of steel.

I never expected life to be forming in me

In the end, I never bought an abortion pill,

and the ultrasound showed your little smile.

your tantrums and your laughs, I love to see.

My heart is cheerful when you learn a new skill.

I am no longer afraid of a motherhood lifestyle.

I think you captured the beauty of surprise, apprehension and insecurities when a soul is placed in our lives to nurture.
