Praise it like I should
to the things that can’t be seen but are felt from eons past, lifetimes to come, and every millisecond in between.

It’s all around us
Notice it in everything
There is no love lost
.
Slick, slight trickle down,
Rain dewed sparkling petals
After the rain drops,
everything has certain shine
Read it on the leaves,
See it on the streets. LOVE is -
in each concrete slit
.
Touch the trees and sea
Here, right now, it’s in the breeze
Can you feel it too?
.
Iridescent tide
Rise so high in my mind’s eye
Watercolored waves
.
Crystalized starlight
Sunken in desert echos
Beneath the full moon
.
Sun-ray freckled nose
and crisp air against my cheeks –
Praise it like I should

Ups, downs, and in-betweenness spat out in word doodles, and thought slang, scribbled by whatever feeling called “shotgun” that trip. I’m just along for the ride.
