Thank you for your smile that caresses my eyes.

Thank you for your sigh that sometimes gives me hope.

Thank you for these dimples that have nothing to envy her.

Mona Lisa trembles in front of this portrait.

Your mirrors of the soul, brighter than a sapphire,

Your irises as clear as a cloudless summer,

How can we not stop to think about them?

Leonardo was surely mistaken.

I'm going to travel through time and take your portrait with me.

And when Leonardo sees it, he'll paint it with a single stroke.

With that hair and that angelic smile,

Francis will no doubt be captivated.

Like a bard, I hit the road.

I play and sing to entertain the crowds,

To tell of your exploits and your fatal beauty;

I won't stop until the ball is over.

Then, one day or another, at the corner of a museum,

A crowd forms around a portrait,

The most beautiful, the most expensive, all the onlookers will say,

But, in my eyes, the most precious of all jewels.

What a dazzling ode to beauty and admiration! The playful nod to the Mona Lisa and Leonardo da Vinci is pure genius. It’s heartfelt, romantic, and charmingly timeless. The bard-like devotion gives it an old-world charm, making it feel like a treasure itself!✨
