Popping out for a pack of smokes
A nonet poem.
By Sian N. CluttonPublished 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read
Please, don't go. Hold on to us tighter.
I won't give up; I'm a fighter.
I'm begging you, stay with me,
I can't breathe without you.
Destroying our home,
Our children too?
Our world - gone...
How could...
you?

Hmmm, some people do be like that. It's heartbreaking
This is a deeply heartbreaking poem. You captured the deep pain of the situation. It is beautifully expressed.
I’m in awe! You are capturing some of the deepest sources of relational pain in these and doing it so masterfully. Just incredible!
Very relatable.
