Poor became rich

By remaining poor himself, he made me the emperor of sorrow.

The treasure of sorrow that you gave

made the beggar rich,

you yourself were a beggar of love, but

you made me a king.

This was deep. I love how the interpretation of this could go several ways, but yet seeming to only go one way. The person who gave the treasure of sorrow, gave it to the person who was also the beggar of love, so they weren’t rich in love but rich in sorrow because you the writer made sorrow a treasure, since the sorrow was so great in quantity and quality due to its intensity… outstanding work 👏🏽👌🏽♥️
