Way too cold outside nowadays

The South Pole is melting

Kinda ironic if you ask

Down here to study something

A very interesting cold creature

The penguins of this region

Such majestic animals when calm

But you get too close

And they start acting different

They’re so pompous, it’s ridiculous

At first, it’s all good

But then they act funny

Like they never knew you

Doesn't affect me that much

If we’re really being honest

I literally fed them fish

From a distance, of course

But it’s the thought really

I don’t think I’ll return

The cold’s not for me
