People want life to be

rainbows and butterflies

They want unicorns and glitter

but that is not always the case

there are dark things in life

but I can't tell you about them

I can't talk about certain topics

I can't talk about certain feelings

May I be smitten if I talk about emotions

Please emotion no need

the only emotion is happiness right?

If only you knew kid.

Because you see life ain't always

rainbows and unicorns

It's just not

you can't block it out either.

you need the bad emotions to balance the good

you can't have only happiness

and you can't have only bad emotion

it must be equal

but you can't talk about the bad emotions

you can't talk about

that time you...

instead talk about the time

you went to the amusement park.

not the time that man...

instead the time

you went on a picnic

the time you

got first prize

the time you

got a puppy.

Always the good never the bad.

because why remember the bad

all you need is the good right?

kid life ain't always

rainbows and butterflies.

someday you'll learn

I'd tell you but

I am not allowed to say

so continue on believing

in rainbows and butterflies.
