Who knew?

By Jack WilliamsPublished 8 years ago 2 min read

Highlighting pure struggles of falling in love.

Who knew

Damn who knew

All my standing but I've finally fallen for you

False loving, I love with no clue

Keep up my wall well that's what I do

18 with a new view

I get up a look at the reflection

See my smile and my damn imperfection

Too busy tryna make an impression

Too lazy to give off affection

Too contagious I'm like an infection

Too stubborn to change my direction

Too low so I take an injection

Too proud to admit my rejection

Too angry, and there's no connection

Too blind can't find my own section

What's the obsession?

This is My confession

I'm trying to belong

I've Needed you all along

Went in alone tried to be strong

But life hands you the tough

Need something to smooth out the rough

Or someone that's you

But I don't have a clue

So I push you away

And then it's darkness every day

But I'm a good guy

I know with you I'll reach the sky

Won't need the pills to be high

My oh my

Should it be why oh why?

Why I don't jump in

Let my loving begin

Show my good side

So all these demons hide

When all is said and done

And when life is no longer fun

I'll begin to run

Not away but to you

Then I'll look up

And life falls into place

You have that smile on your face

That's my drug

Your love

It's my addiction

We will last that's my prediction

Now love is no longer Fiction

But then again

Remember my words

My rhymes

I'm just

Too busy tryna make an impression

Too lazy to give off affection

Too contagious I'm like an infection

Too stubborn to change my direction

Too low so I take an injection

Too proud to admit my rejection

Too angry, and there's no connection

Too blind can't find my own section

It's my obsession

To make a good damn impression

And teach people a life lesson

Turning to a life of aggression

Too busy fight oppression

Working hard every session

Trying for some succession

Write these to help my expression

Without you there's some depression

Without love this is no profession

Without a message this has no progression

So take this back and listen

You are all I'm missing

You're my injection

For you there's no rejection

heartbreak
