Poetic knowledge & Prayers

A Testimony Of Chapters Of Me!

By James McKinnonPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

Tho 20 years have passed , it's no better than the last

As we write your names in stone,

Remembering all that's gone.

The kids are all but grown,

So I sit here all alone,

Each September the eleventh must come ,

And as it does reflecting what was ,

Still hurts in all but some.

As we raise our FLAG to honor you still,

And avenge your taking we surely will!

Till that one fine day the smoke has cleared,

I hold you close and tightly here,

Inside my chest with every breath ,

As I wipe away the tears, As sword and cymbal clashes, there scattered amongst the ashes, lye so many precious badges ,so for those who sacrificed ,

We leave on our lights tonight, and 21 guns our fathers and sons salute our sisters and brothers , and lift up all the mothers who Carry the folded flags for those not coming back!

And upon the twelfth if nothing else ,

You lived for one more day,

& If I wake tomorrow know I'll try to follow ,the steps that lead me home , with open doors to you once more right where I belong,

Then together with all ,we did not fall this Great US of A with trumpets sounding victory has found me marching all the way.

For all those gone, present and never forgotten.

We'reo still kicking their ass!!!!!!Rmembering 09/11/2001 john15vs13
