Alexandra Vasiliu is an inspirational poet who uses her imagination to write books that help people overcome life’s adversities, heal their emotional wounds, increase empathy, find hope, become stronger, and love again. Her poetry touched thousands of people, one heart at a time.
Alexandra double majored in Literature and French for her undergraduate degree before pursuing her Ph.D. in Medieval Literature. When she isn’t busy writing, she can be found in bookstores and libraries browsing books or outdoors chasing violet sunsets.

The daughter of silence
It all started when Echo was five. She kept having these nightmares where she would just fall into a dark pit, screaming insanely loud, yet no one, not even her own parents would hear her. It was terrifying. But the most horrible part was that when she'd wake up panting, her parents were nowhere to be found, just like in her dream. She'd always cry herself to sleep alone and helpless.
