In the quiet of the night,

Memories hold me tight,

Tears fall silently like rain,

Echoes of a distant pain.

Once we danced in summer's glow,

Now I walk alone and slow,

Shadows where your laughter played,

Fade into the night's cascade.

Dreams we shared now drift away,

In the dawn of a new day,

Love that once was warm and bright,
