"Darkness"

Darkness, ever vast -

like an ocean, far and wide.

Darkness, clouding our vision -

engulfing our sight with black.

Darkness, covering our tracks -

making us forget the path.

Darkness, ever consuming -

eating us from the inside out.

Darkness, ever destructive -

reducing our surroundings to rubble.

Darkness, crippling our body -

causing our wounds to fester.

Darkness, carrying our secrets -

hiding the source of our pain.

Darkness, ever vast -

like an ocean, never ending.

Love,

makes you dance in the rain

helps you fight through the pain

Love,

allows you to see through different eyes

gives you the chance to forego your guise

Love,

engulfs you with rays of light

batters you until you fall under its might

“Addiction”

Fueling our desires,

ignoring our needs.

Killing our pain,

at the expense of our love.

Clouding our judgment,

leading us down a different path.

Forgetting our identity,

turning us into something else.

Disregarding our loneliness,

granting us euphoria.
