PoGo Poem
Poem I wrote based on my experience playing Pokemon Go.
Three decades of trying to catch them all with of black, red and blue balls
People stare at you when you’re in a group as if we are in Orwell’s 1984
The gyms are under construction and the Pokémon cannot be found.
If I had a shot every time the game crashed or glitched, I’d be laughing with alcoholic anonymous.
Sheer excitement when we catch shinies and hundos, even better when it’s the illusion Shundo.
Exploring fields and parks to find that wretched bird that likes to run
Sometimes hunting isn’t always that fun
And let’s not forget the lovely costumer support
Powered by AI and none of the choices apply to you.
I bet they think oh god it’s her again trying to get back the pass she lost.
Its a game of my childhood and a game that runs my life.
I love nothing more than spending time with my pogo friends.
I can walk miles that I would not have walked
And discovered a path I continue to walk.

Oh wow, it glitches that often? That's a bummer. Loved your poem!
