Silence Won't Speak For Itself

How could you stand there in silence after all we have been through?

After all these years I spent desperately trying to find you,

And yet, you can't even say your name, even though you know

I know who you are.

How could you treat me like I am just a shadow?

Talk to me like I am a complete stranger, though you know that I

am not.

They say a new door opens when you open your heart and talk,

But you speak to me like a stranger, uttering no words at all;

Standing there silently, hiding your truth.

Why are you so ashamed to let the world know we know each other?

When you left me, I was blue;

Yet still, our years of friendship were worth all those years I spent trying to

find you, yet still, you choose to ignore what you genuinely know.

Come on, Titch;

Just say it!

We were always very close,

And you do know who I am; you showed it in the way that you were talking

to me.

Please, give me some answers!

Silence won't speak for itself.
