Playing The Name Game In The Rain
A Flirty Poetic Fair Way

Shane
Had nothing to complain
Playing a game
Combatting the rain
Needing everyone to know his name
Calling it fame
Finding a rose
Purchasing husband material at Lowes
He bumped into Miss Brown
A siren wearing the seductive gown
Alarming as it sounds
He stood his ground
From the demands of Miss Brown
“I am not in your space
You can build your case
But it has no base”
Enter Henly
Driving a Bently
Picking up Miss Brown
Transporting her all over town
“Such an evil one
I am glad Miss Brown is done
Shopping around
Wearing a seductive gown”
While in her Bently
Driven by Henly
Miss Brown wanted to know
“Where did Mr. Cantlay go?”
Hanley replied
While giving a ride
“He is with Shane
Combatting the rain
Playing a game
Needing fortune, fame
And everyone knowing his name”
Miss Brown did declare
Wanting an evening affair
Filled with tease full sin
Lets pick up some rum and gin
Then see who did win
In the game
Played in the rain
For fortune and fame
Later a rainbow did appear
Bringing the scene much cheer
Without any fear
Approaching the two, using the term ‘sweet dear’
“What can we do for you?’
They asked when competing was through
“Join me for a drink
I have nice booze; it will help us think”
She said with a luring wink
With the stars bright
All three had a nice night
Until the morning
Without warning
They had to play a game
Combatting rain
Needing fortune, fame
And everyone knowing their name
